I first studied art in Richmond, Surrey. I then attended The Cambridge School of Art and trained in illustration.

Whilst raising my family, I continued painting in water colour, but more recently have enjoyed painting in oils. I paint in the studio but have developed a love for plein air; painting regularly with the ‘Surrey Hills Plein Air Painters’ and the ‘London Plein Air Group’.
