This Night shard reduction linocut print forms part of a series of 3.These prints were created shortly after Borough Nightfall which was selected for the Royal Academy Summer show in 2013. This print also forms part of a series inspired by Paul Cummins and Tom Piper’s poppy installation, in recognition of those who lost their lives in the first world war. These ceramic poppies outside the Tower of London formed an interesting juxtaposition with the contemporary Shard in the background.
